Where to visit...
The Counting House is just a 5-minute walk from Alnwick's best known attractions: Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden. We are also just a short drive from the historic Bamburgh Castle, The Holy Island of Lindisfarne (double check tide times ahead of a visit), and Seahouses, where you can take a boat trip off the coast of Northumberland for some wildlife-spotting!

As mentioned above, we're conveniently located should you wish to visit Alnwick Castle, a beloved filming location for fans of the Harry Potter franchise.

Opposite the front door of The Counting House, you will also find our sister business, Bowring Hepple Black, Alnwick's independent Harry Potter merchandise shop. This treasure trove of Harry Potter gifts and collectibles will delight Wizarding World fans of all ages visiting Alnwick and the North East of England.
